An ordinance granting permission to Ernest Flaaen and Ruth
McLean to connect their homestead at 522 W.-Annapolis,
Mendota Heights, the same being all that trac or parcel of
land in the County of Dakota, State of Minnesota, more
particularly described as Lots 1, 2 and 3, Block 1, C. D.
Pierce's Addition to St. Paul, according to the plat thereof on
file 'and of record in the office of the Register of Deeds
of Ramsey County, Minnesota, to the sewer system of the
City of Saint Paul, for the disposal of sanitary sewage,
and regulating the conditions thereof. This is an emer-
gency_ ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation of
the,'public peace, health and safety.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That permission is hereby given to Ernest Flaaen
and Ruth McLean to connect their homestead at 522 W. Annapolis,
Mendota Heights, the same b¢ing all that tract or parcel of 1&nd
in the County of Dakota., State of Minnesota, more parti6u1 arly
described as Lots 1, 2 and 3,, Block 1, C. D. Pierce's Addition to
St. Paul, according to the plat thereof on file and of record in the
office of the Register of Deeds of Ramsey County, Minnesota, with
the existing sewer of the City of Saint Paul,'upon the following
conditions:

1. That•said-permittees, or their successors'in
interest in respect to said real estate, shall pay to
the City of Saint Paul the sum of $6.00 per frontage foot
of said real estate, for an aggregate frontage of 88 feet,
said sum to be in lieu of special assessments and taxes on
account of the sewer service, and upon payment of said sum,

interest shall., within 90 days from the passage of
this ordinance, file a written acceptance thereof,

specifically agreeing to all'the provisions, terms.
and conditions herein, and upon compliance therewith
the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby author-
ized to issue a permit for said sewer extension, subject
expressly to the provisions of this ordinance and Sections

235.08 to 235:14 inclusive of the Saint P ul Legis-
lative Code. a

3. That said permittees or their successors in
interest shall apply for all necessary permits for
the subject connection and for performance of work
in any public street of said City of Saint Paul necessary
therefor, and that the Commissioner of Public Works
shall be deemed hereby authorized thereupon to issue
any such necessary permits.
4. That no more than a single sewer connection per-
mit hereby is authorized, and the same shall lapse and
expire for all purposes 90 days next after the official
publication of this ordinance unless prior to such
publication such permit shall have been exercised and
the subject sewer connection thereby.authorized shall
have been installed and completed.
Section 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency
ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation of the public peace,
health and safety.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force upon
_its paEage; approval and publication.
