proceedings herein having been sent to John E. Shaughnessy, 508%
St. Germain Street, St. Cloud, Minnesota; Clifford R.'Hjelm.,
106 N. Smith Avenue, St. Paul 2; and Wurdeman, Hjelm & Lindstrom,
838 Laurel Avenue, St. Paul 4; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Paul
hold a public hearing in the Council Chamber at ten o }clock
A.M. (D.S.T.) on the 28th day of July 1960 f
to consider any complaints about the expense incurred by the
City of St. Paul and to confirm the amount thereof; be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Architect notify'by mail the

A statement of expense has been filed with the City Clerk on
this date for the purpose of creating a lien on the property
known as 612 -620 Central Park Place, described as Southeasterly
5 feet of Lot 17, and All of Lots 18 through 22, Block 6, of
Rearrangement of Blocks 6 and 7, Central Park Addition.,
This property is owned by
Henry Henderson, 116 Oak Grove, Minneapolis
Jeanne B. Roberts, 2220 Nokomis St., St. Paul 19
and carbon copies of the proceedings were sent to:
John 5. Shaughnessy, 508% St. Germain St., St. Cloud, Minn.
Clifford R. Hjelm, 106 N. Smith Ave., St. Paul 2
Wurdeman, Hjelm & Lindstrom, 838 Laurel Avenue, St. Paul 4
In this matter, the following resolutions were adopted by the
City Council:

and all things therein necessary for the protection of life,
limb, and adjoining property. I
C.F. 196193, adopted by-the Council March 9, 1960 (published
March 12, 1960), approved the specifications prepared by this
office for the wrecking of this building and authorized the
Purchasing Agent to advertise for bids. j
C.F. 196494, adopted by the Council March 31, 1960 (published
April 2, 1960), approved the award of the contract for wreck-
ing to Carl Bolander & Son for the sum of $4,400.00 in accord-
ance with specifications and Formal Bid No. 7983.
C.F. 197918, adopted by the Council July 7, 1960 (published
July 9, 1960), provided that the wrecking expense of $4,400.00
and expense of the Department of Parks And Recreation And Pub-
lic Buildings in connection with the condemnation�in the '
amount of $92.12, making a total of $4,492.12 be paid out of
Wrecking Condemned Buildings Account of the General +Fund, 31 G
22, and in the event said sum proves collectible from the own-
er, same is to be credited to 31 G 22.

The building has now been satisfactorily wrecked and a register-
ed bill mailed to the owners.
We are requesting that you hold a public hearing with ten days'
notice to consider any complaints about the expenses',incurred
and to confirm the amount. The Council resolution confirming
the expense should end with a directive to the City Clerk to
file a statement of expense for the purpose of securing a lien
on the property.
