OF ZONING,' CITY OF SAINT PAUL 35 1315 CITY HALL AND COURT HOUSE SAINT PAUL 1, MINNESOTA June 28, 1960 Mrs. Agnes H. O'Connell City Clerk Building Dear Madam: This is in the matter of the application of the Toni Company for a permit to install and operate an employee parking lot on property located on the east side of John Street between Fourth and Fifth Streets. A description of be property is attached. The property is zoned heavy industry and has been since the adoption of the Ordinance. in 1922. The site is presently vacant, and the applicant proposes to develop it with a 120 car employee parking lot. The property under consider- ation has a frontage of 94 feet on John Street and extends to a depth of 690 feet, resulting in a total area of 64,860 square feet. North and adjoining is the Sixth Street Freeway right -of -way; west across John Street, and south and east adjoining are industrial uses. The Traffic Engineer has approved the plan which meets the standards for this type of facility. Field investigation discloses no basic objection from the standpoint of adjacent land uses. In consideration of the above factors, the Board of Zoning recommends the granting of the permit for a 120 car employee parking lot on the above described property in accordance with plans approved June 2, 1960. Sincerely, H. C. Wieland Secretary HCW :FGI Board of Zoning Encl. Z.
