RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchadng Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the City of
St. Paul Water Department f.o.b. Purification and Filtration Plant, Soo Line Siding,
St. Paul, Minnesota, approximately 9000 tons Burned Lime (Calcium Oxide), to
LINWOOD SION6 PRODUC'T'S COMPANY, INC., MATERIAL SUPPLY CORPORATION, AGENT, in
accordance with City specifications and the Formal Bid ##8054 of said Linwood Stone
Products Company, Inc., Material Supply Corporation, Agent, at a price of $18.00 per
ton, making total contract price of approximately $1629000.00 (contract to run for
period of one year from date of Comptroller's countersignature on contract), such
bid being the lowest and said Minwood Stone Products Company, Inc., Material Supply
Corporation, Agent, belzi0 a-- reasonable ,and - reliable bidder, and -the Corporration
Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor,
and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on
behalf of the City of St. Paul,
