PAUL OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK COUNCIL RESOLUTION — GENERAL FORM e COUNCIL 1, 7827 FILE NO• WHEREAS, The City Clerk has reported,-in accordance with Section 53 of the City, Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from June 22nd to -June 29th which rendered necessary _ the employment of certain employees of the City Clerk's Office for ° more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work: The office was open two nights for instruction meetings for election judges and to enable the judges to pick up supplies for election day. The office was open from 6 A.M. to 10 P.M; Election Day. And WHEREAS, this emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: Preparing for the election of June 28, 1960.
