RESOLVED, that pursuant to the recommendation of the
Department of Public Works, the Soil Exploration Company,
a Minnesota corporation, with offices at 2440 Franklin Avenue,
Saint Paul, Minnesota, be retained to furnish professional
engineering services in connection with soil investigations
and soil test borings and;an engineering report for the foundations
of a new bridge over the Short Line Road west of and adjoining the
existing Summit Avenue Bridge over the C. M. St. P. & P. Railroad,
in accordance with the terms and provisions of the Agreement
attached hereto and made part hereof by reference as fully and
as completely as if set forth herein verbatim; be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper City officers are hereby
authorized and directed to execute said Agreement on behalf of
the City of Saint Paul; be it
FINALLY RESOLVED, that the aggregate payment to said Soil
Exploration Company shall not exceed the sum of $975.00, payment
to said Company by virtue of the terms of the foresaid Agreement
to be charged to P.I.R. Fund 3001, which shal a reimbursed from
Bond Fund 200- St -29.
