Appeal of Hung Nguyen to a Vehicle Abatement Order for property at 691 Lafond Avenue. Hung Nguyen, property owner, appeared. Ms. Booker stated that orders were issued on June 8 on a red Toyota that was missing plates and had a broken out rear window with a compliance date of June 12. The owner called and requested additional tune due to health issues and she granted him until June 27 for the vehicle to come into compliance. He then filed an appeal. Mr. Nguyen stated that someone had stolen the license plates on the car a couple of months ago. He had health issues and asked for an addirional two weeks to comply. Ms. Moermond asked whether he had cailed the Police. Mr. Nguyen responded that he had not. Ms. Moermond asked whether the car was drivable. Mr. Nguyen responded that it was. Ms. Moermond recommended denying the appeal and ganting an extension to July 11 for the vehicle to come into compliance.
