L RESOLUTION— GENERAL FORM of Saint Paul was issued on November

Whereas, Said Charleen Reidell did
ap�earHin the Traffic Branch of the
WHEREAS, a Traffic Tag of the City of Saint Paul
was issued on November 1, 1959, charging one Charleen Reidell
of the violation of the traff ic'ordinances, to -wit: Speeding;
and,
WHEREAS, said Charleen Reidell'did appear in the
Traff ic'Branch of the Municipal Court of the City of Saint Paul
on November 13, 1959, entering a plea of guilty to the afore-
said charge; and,
WHEREAS, the Municipal Court of the City of Saint
Paul, the Honorable Edward D. Mulally, presiding, did fine
said Charleen Reidell the sum of $20.00; and,
WHEREAS, the aforesaid fine having been paid and
funds deposited by and through-f,the Clerk of Municipal Court
of the City of Saint Paul and it now being necessary to re-
fund said $20.00 to said Charleen Reidell; and,
WHEREAS, it has since been determined that said
Charleen Reidell was in fact a juvenile under the age of �r
eighteen (18) years, as of said 13th day of November, 199,
said Charleen Reidell having been born on October 11, 1944,
and having since appeared in Juvenile Court as a result of the
aforesaid traffic violation; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the proper'City officers are hereby
authorized to reimburse the said Charleen Reidell in the amount
of $20.00 to cover the amount paid the Traffic Violations Bureau
for the aforesaid traffic violation.

Whereas, The City Council of Saint
Paul did on December 20, 1957, approve
Resolution C. F. 185558 having to do
with items of cooperation between the
United States and the City of Saint
Paul with respect to the possible
WHEREAS, The City Council of Saint Paul did on December 20, 1957,
approve Resolution C. F. 185558 having to do with items of cooperation
between the United States and the City of Saint Paul with respect to
the possible establishment of a small boat harbor at the upper end of
Harriet Island, Saint Paul and.
WHEREAS, The City of Saint Paul has been Informed by the United
States Corps of Engineers of a change in federal policies having the
effect of lowering the portions of costs to be shared and increasing
the portions that would be borne solely by the City of Saint Paul and
WHEREAS, The additional costs to the City of Saint Paul would
be reasonable and relatively minor, and
WHEREAS, The City of Saint Paul is desirous of establishing In
the public interest a proper and fully developed recreational area on
Harriet Island, now therefore be it
RESOLVED, That part c. of tfie above m'd tiohed-res6r416n C.
No. 185558 is hereby deleted and the following substituted:
(c) Provide and maintain without cost to the United States
access roads, parking and storage areas, the dredging of suitable
berthing areas, mooring facilities and utilities including a public
landing with suitable,-supply facilities open to all on equal and
reasonable terms,
And be it further RESOLVED, That part e. of the above mentioned
resolution No. 185558 is hereby deleted and the following substituted:
(e) Make a cash contribution equivalent to 50 percent of the
construction cost of the general navigation facilities, the contribu-
tion being currently estimated at $42,300.00.
Be It Further Resolved, That all other provisions of the afore-
mentioned resolution No. C.F. 185558 be unchanged and in effect.

Commissioner Holland. The resolution pertains to items of coopera-
tion on a small boat harbor.
The Corps of Engineers is quite anxious to receive two
certified copies of such a resolution in order that the report on
this project may be acted upon by higher authority.
