In the Matter of grading and surfacing with bituminous material the alley in
Block 7, Clarke's Addition, from View St. to Victoria St. Also constructing a
sewer in an easement to be obtained on, under and across the westerly 4 ft. of the
easterly 8 ft. of Lot 24, Block 7, Clarke's Addition, from the alley to Tuscarora Ave.
under Preliminary Order 195086 approved December 18, 1959
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is to grade and surface

with bituminous material the alley in Block 7, Clarke Is Addition, from View St. to
Victoria St. Also construct a sewer in an easement to be obtained on, under and across
the westerly 4 ft..of the easterly 8 ft. of Lot 24, Block 7, Clarke's Addition, from
the alley to Tuscarora Ave.
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 7,1226.35
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 23rd day of
February , 19--6-0---, at the hour of 10 dclock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to Ithe persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and ��tjie total cost thereof as estimated.
