WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Parks and Recreation and
._ . Publ:�c Buildings has reported, in accordance with
Section, 53 of the City Charter, the existence of
an emergency during the_period from Jamary 1
io 15, 1960, which rendered necessary, the employ-
ment of certain employees of the Department of
Parks and Recreation and Public Buildings for more
than eight hours per day or forty hours per week
in doing the following work=
Getting out an extra burden of seasonal
work in the Recreation office.
And WHEREAS, This emergency arose by reason of the follow-
_ ing_factq and circumstances:
Acceleration of activity in the winter
season.
TMMEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the proper city officers
are hereby, authorized to pay the employees who per..
formed such work in accordance with the provisions
of the Council's salary ordinance, Ordinance No. 6lt146.
