RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Co ittee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for the Construction of Ornamental Lighting
System on Northern Route from Snelling to minnehaha near Dale to COLLINS
ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION COMPANY in accordance with City plans and specifications
therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #8142 of said Collins Electrical
Construction Company for the contract price of $33,700.00 (plus $674.00 for
Engineering and Inspection by City Forces) such bid being the lowest and said
Collins Electrical Construction Company being a'ressonable and reliable bidder and
the Corporation (bunsel be ..and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of
contract therefor and'the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute
said contract in behalf-of the City of Saint Paul.
