Dear Council Members:
There is a two and one half story two - family dwelling and a
shed at 473 -5 Anita Street, described as Except South 70.50
feet, Lot 6; Block 7, of Blocks 6, 7, 8, 9, 109 119 12, 13
and 14, Prospect Plateau.
The dwelling is 30 by 30 by 24. A bad fire occurred here in
August, 1958, and the buildings were never repaired. Windows
and doors are boarded, plaster is damaged, the roof is part-
ly burned off, floors are bulged. Both these buildings are
dilapidated, dangerous to life, limb, and adjoining property,
and beyond reasonable repair. They should be wrecked and ==
removed.
A Danger Notice has been posted, and the last known record
owner is D. W. Kaufmann, 1621 West Seventh Street, St. Paul 2.
Kindly institute condemnation action by setting a hearing date
in accordance with Section 1.07 -2 of the St. Paul Legislative
Code, outlining condemnation procedure.
