City of Saint Paul hereby approves

been published in the St. Paul Dispatch-
Pioneer Press, a newspaper of general
daily circulation in the City of Saint
Paul, the cost of said advertising for

RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of .Saint Paul
hereby approves and ratifies action of the Purchasing Agent
in securing! advertisements in connection with-the advertising
of the old,'workhouse property lands for public sale, said
advertisements having been published in the St. Paul Dispatch-
Pioneer Press, a newspaper of general daily circulation in the
i City of Saint Paul, the cost of said advertising for
Four Sunday and four daily combinations of
display classified ad (84 lines each on
Dec. 13, 17, 20 & 30 and Jan. 3, 5, 7 & 10)
$450.64, less 2% of net, 7.66, if paid
in 10 days , being . . . . . . $ 442.98
and advertisements in the Minneapolis Sunday Tribune,
a newspaper of general circulation in the City of
Minneapolis, the cost of said advertising for
Three Sunday ads ,of display clas,sif ied
(84 lines each) on Dec. 13 & 20 and Jan. 3,
$327.60, less 2% of net, $5.57, if paid in

a total of $ 765.01
and the Council authorizes and directs that the proper_City officers
pay such claim in the total amount of $765.01 to the Borden Adver-
tising Agency, said advertising agency having handled the aforesaid
advertisements on behalf of the City of Saint Paul at the request
of the Purchasing Agent, such amount to be paid out of Special
Fund No. 1048, entitled, "Detention Commission Receipts Fund ".
