In the matter of the assessment of benefits, cost and expenses
for
changing the grade of the alley in Block 8, Holcombe's Add. from Dale St. to
St. Albans Ste to conform to the grade as sh0m on the profile��on file in the
Dept. of Public Works; also grading and surfacing with bituminous material the
alley in Block 8, Holcombe's Addition, from Dale St. to Ste Albans St. to the
proposed change of grade
under Preliminary Order 187162 ,approvecl April 24 1958
Intermediary Order 188252 approved July 8.,'1958
Final Order 188589 ,approved August 5, 1958 .
The assessment of benefits, cost and expenses for and in connection with
the above improvement having been submitted to the Council, and the Council having considered same
and found the said assessment satisfactory, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the said assessment be and the same is hereby in all respects approved.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That a public hearing be had on said assessment on the 6th
day of April, 1960 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of
the Court House and City Hall Building, in the City of St. Paul; that the Commissioner of Finance
give notice of said meetings, as required by the Charter, stating in said notice the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement, the total cost thereof, and the amount assessed against the
lot or lots of the particular owner to whom the notice is directed.
