WHEREAS, Alfred H. Schroeder, City Architect, having requested
the City Council to hold a public hearing to consider any complaints
about the expense incurred by the City of St. Paul in removing a
dangerous structure at 371 Iglehart Avenue, more particularly describ-
ed as Lot 9, Block 3, Grace's Addition to St. Paul, the City Council
held a public hearing on December 22, 1960 to consider the expense
and to confirm the amount thereof; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the City Council, pursuant to C.F. No.
195339, approved March 18, 1960, published March 26, 1960, set a pub-
lic hearing to consider removing the dangerous structure, and the
City Council by C. F. No. 196724, approved April 14,-1960, published
April 16, 1960, ordered the wrecking by and at the separate cost and
expense of the owner, occupant, or other person in control thereof,
and the City Council by C. F. No. 197088, approved May 11, 1960, pub-
lished June 4, 1960, directed the Commissioner of Parks And Recreation
And Public Buildings to enter upon the premises and wreck and remove
the building thereon -and do any and all things therein necessary for
the protection of life, limb, and adjoining property, and that the
City of St. Paul has incurred the expense of $1,010.24 in removing
said structure; and
WHEREAS, it appears that C. E. Keegan, Minneapolis Savings And
Loan Association, 2 East Fourth St., St. Paul 1 is owner and copies of
proceedings herein having been sent to Arthur K. Wurdemann, 838 Laurel
Avenue, St. Paul 4; Cecelia Pawelczyk Milewski and Sigmund Milewski,
371 Iglehart Aveiaue, St. Paul 3; Mrs. Rose Hoffineister, 625 S. Cleve-
land Avenue, St. Paul 16; Gerald J. Spangler, c/o 399 Iglehart Avenue,
St. Paul 3; Hjelm Bros. Inv. Co., 106 N. Smith Avenue, St. Paul 2;
and Mr. Bialich, 525 Plymouth Building, Minneapolis, Minnesota; be it
RESOLVED, that we, the City Council of the City of St. Paul, do
hereby confirm the amount of $1,010.24 to be the fair, true, and
reasonable amount for such services incurred in removing the dangerous
structure; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be directed to file in the
Office of the Register of Deeds for the County of Ramsey a statement
of expense incurred by the City for the purpose of securing a lien on

Dear Madam:
We are attaching herewith a copy of Council File No. 200229,
approved by the City Council December 28, 1960 and published
in the official paper on December 31, 1960.
This has reference to the property at 371 Iglehart Avenue,
described as Lot 9, Block 3, Grace's Addition to St. Paul
owned by C. E, Keegan, Minneapolis Savings And Loan Associa-
tion, 2 East Fourth Street, St. Paul 1; and copies of the pro-
ceedings were mailed to Arthur K. Wurdemann, 838 Laurel Avenue,
St. Paul 4; Cecelia Pawelczyk Milewski and Sigmund Milewski,
371 Iglehart Ave., St. Paul 3; Mrs. Rose Hoffineister, 625 S,
Cleveland Ave., St. Paul 16; Gerald J. Spangler, c/o 399 Igle-
hart Avenue, St. Paul 3; H,jelm Bros. Inv. Co., 106 N. Smith
Avenue, St. Paul 2; and Mr. Bialich, 525 Plymouth Building,
Minneapolis, Minnesota and confirms the expense incurred by the
City in the condemnation and wrecking of the three story frame
seven - apartment building thereon, which amounted to $1,010.24,
As you will note, the final paragraph of this resolution dir-
ects the City Clerk to file, in the office of the Register of
Deeds, a statement of expense incurred, for the purpose of se-
curing a lien on the property, in accordance with Section 1.07 =7
of the Saint Paul Legislative Code.
