Georgi, covering professional engineering services performed and to be
performed by the latter for the former and fixing the compensation payable
to the latter by the former therefor;
RESOLVED TURTHER., that the execution and delivery of said
proposed second rider or amendment to said Professional Service-Agreement
in behalf of said Board hereby are authorized, said instrument having been
approved as to form by the Corporation Counsel.

WHEREAS, The Board of Water Commissioners does not have the forces necessary
for carrying on all field survey work related to and required for or because
of extensions and maintenance of the waterworks ■ystem; and,
WHEIREM, The Board hitherto has engaged the services of Mr. Charles 0. Georgi,
a professional engineer and land surveyor registered in the State of Minnesota,
far performing said field work and related services under the direction of and
for the Board the fees and compensation therefor being sat forth in a Contract
entered into by and between the Board and W. Georgi, said Contract having been
amended by Rider or Amendment made as of 9 January 1959; and,
WHEREAM, Said Contract as amended and in which was not forth provisions and
conditions relative to the performance of and compensation for said services
to be furnished the Board by W. Georgi, expires 14 January 1961 and it is
desired to further amend said Contract Be as to extend now until and includ-
ing 31 December 1962 also so as to provide for a total contract price not to
exceed $10,500.00, said price being conformable to authorisations heretofore
given therefor by duly approved City Council resolutions C.F. 185793 and
C.F. 190564; and
WHEREAS, The Capital Area Land Surveyors' Association has adopted a Minimum
Fee Schedule effective May 12, 1960 and the Board and Mr. Georgi desire to
further amend said Contract so as to ravine the seals. of fees sat out therein
so as to conform same to said Minimmm Fee Schedule than adopted by said Asso-
