Resolution of Council Approving Assessment
and Fixing Time of Hearing Thereon
In the matter of the assessment of benefits, cost and expenses for
grading and paving a Service Road, for the purpose of serving the abutting property,
from the easterly line of Market Street (vacated) to the easterly line of Walnut
.Street, said Service Road to be constructed approximately parallel to aid north-
westerly of the through highway on Shepard Road; also constructing curbing from
Market Street (vacated) to Walnut Street and constructing sidewalk from Eagle Street
to Walnut Street; also constructing drainage structures, sewer and water service
connections where necessary between Market Street (vacated) and Sherman Street and
dding all other work which is necessary and incidental to said improvement
under Preliminary Order 173180 , approved Mav 17, 1255 ,
Intermediary Order 173276 , approved May 24, 1955 ,
Final Order 173680 , approved June 21, -1955
The assessment of bansfitn, coat and expenses for and in connection with
the above improvement having been submitted to the Council, and the Council - having considered same�Y
and found the said assessment satisfactory, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the said assessment be and the same is hereby in all respects approved.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That a public hearing be had on said assessment on the 1 1 th
day of �Jan»'.Y, 1961 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of
the Court House and City Hall Building, in the City of St. Paul; that the Commissioner of Finance
give notice of said meetings, as required by the Charter, stating in said notice the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement, the total cost thereof, and' the amount assessed against the
lot or lots of the particular owner to whom the notice is directed.
