In the matter of grading Arundel Street from Minnehaha Avenue to the north line of
Lot 19, Block 3, Neurerls Addition; Englewood Ave. from Arundel St. to Western Ave.
and Cumberland St. from Englewood Ave. to the south line of the Great Northern Rail-
road Right -of -Way, under Preliminary Order 196273, approved March 15, 1960, and Final
Order 197560, approved June 14, 1960, and in the matter of constructing a sewer in
Minnehaha Ave. from Mackubin St. to Arundel St.; in Arundel St. from Minnehaha Ave.
to 380 feet north of Englewood Ave.; in Englewood Ave. from Arundel St. to 109 feet
east of Cumberland St.; in Cumberland St. from Englewood Ave. to 340 feet north of
Englewood Ave.; all of which is to be known as the ENGLEWOOD- ARUNDEL SEATER SYSTEM,
under Preliminary Order 188052, approved June 24, 1958, and Final Order 197559, aP-
proved June 14, 1960, known as Contract No. 60 G 1271.
Resolved, That the plans and specifications as submitted for the above improvement
be and the same are hereby approved and the Commissioner of Public Works be and he is
hereby directed to do by City Forces the fine grading, compaction of sub -base, gravel
and oiling and other miscellaneous work at an estimated cost of $9555.00, and that the
Purchasing,Agent proceed to secure the necessary materials, and be it
Further Resolved, That the Purchasing Agent be and he is hereby directed to obtain
bids -for the improvement, the bids to show separately the amount for the grading work
(except the work to be done by City Forces) and the amount,for sewer work as per plans
and specifications, and the total thereof to be considered as bids for the entire im-
provement., and be it
Further Resolved, That the cost of the above improvemen including engineering and
inspection _expenses_ amounting _to $1382.00, or a _tot - of i0, 937.00, plus the cost of
