Council City of Saint Paul CApital 4 -4612 Ext. 361 Dear Council Members: A statement of expense has been filed with the City Clerk on this date for the purpose of creating a lien on the property known as 130 Iglehart Avenue, described as Lot 18, Block 3, Irvine's Addition to St. Paul. This property is owned by Angela M. Ramsey County Home, 2000 White Bear In this matter, the following resol City Council: C,F. 197644, adopted by the Council June 25, 1960, set a public hearing C.F. 198034, adopted by the Council July 16, 1960, ordered the wrecking and expense of the owner, occupant, thereof. and Samuel Wyman, care of Avenue, Saint Paul 9. utions were adopted by the June 21, 1960, published at 10 A. M. July 12, 1960, July 14, 1960, published by and at the separate cost or other person in control C.F. 198341, adopted by the Council August 4, 1960, published August 6, 1960, directed the Commissioner of Parks And Recrea- tion And Public Buildings to enter the premises and wreck and remove the one and one half story frame dwelling thereon, and do any and all things therein necessary for the protection of life, limb, and adjoining property. C.F. 198821, adopted by the Council September 7, 1960, published September 10, 1960, approved the specifications prepared by this office for the wrecking of this building and authorized the Pur- chasing Agent to advertise for bids. C.F. 199073, adopted by the Council September 27, 1960, published October 1, 1960, approved the award of the contract for wrecking to Minnesota Lumber & Wrecking Co, for the sum of $568.00 in accordance with specifications and Informal Bid No. 1866. S UE V C.F. 199547, adopted by the Council November 4, 1960, published November 12, 1960, provided that the wrecking expense of $568.00 and expense of the Department of Parks And Recreation And Public Buildings in connection with the condemnation in the amount of $66.48, making a total of $634.48 be paid out of Wrecking Con- demned Buildings Account of the General Fund, 31 G 22, and, in the event said sum proves collectible from the owner, same is to be credited to 31 G 22. The building has now been satisfactorily wrecked and a register- ed bill mailed to the owners. We are requesting that you hold a public hearing with ten days' notice to consider any complaints about the expenses incurred and to confirm the amount. The Council resolution confirming the expense should end with a directive to the City Clerk to file a- statement of expense for the purpose of securing a lien on the property.
