FLAG ON THANKSGIVING DAY AT MAIN LIBRARY AND - BRANCHES AND ON
VETERANS' DAY, (3) EMPTYING BOOK RETURN BOX OVER THE WEEK —ENDS,
AND BEING PRESENT DURING EVENING MEETINGS OF THE PUBLIC,
AND WHEREAS, THIS EMERGENCY AROSE BY REASON OF THE FOLLOWING FACTS AND
CIRCUMSTANCES ::
COVERING BOOKMOBILE SCHEDULE, BEING PRESENT DURING EVENING MEETINGS
OF THE PUBLIC DISPLAYING AMERICAN FLAG ON HOLIDAYS, AND EMPTYING
BOOK RETURN BOX7
THEREFORE BE (T RESOLVED THAT THE PROPER CITY OFFICERS ARE HEREBY AUTHORIZED
TO PAY THE EMPLOYEES WHO PERFORMED SUCH WORK IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
PROVISIONS OF THE COUNCILS SALARY ORDINANCE N0. 6446.
