A public hearing having been had upon the above improvement upon due n6tice, and the Council
having heard all persons, objections and recommendations relative thereto, and having fully considered
the same; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of St. Paul that the precise nature, extent and kind of im-
provement to be made by the said City is to grad# and surface with bituminous material all
alleys in Block 5, Hamline Syndicate Addition No. 2 (the East North and South alley from
Thomas Ave.to Lafond Ave; the West North and South alley from Thomas Ave. to hzfond Ave.
and the East and West alley from the West North and Southalley to the East North and
South alley.) - --� -- -
Also constructing a storm sewer in the East Northand South alley from the center line
of the East and West alley to Thomas Ave., and in the West North and South alley from 43.73
ft. South of Lafond Ave.to Lafond Ave.
and the Council hereby orders said improvement to be made.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby instructed and
directed to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and submit same to the Council for
approval; that upon said approval, the proper city officials are hereby authorized and directed to pro-
ceed with the making of said improvement in accordance therewith.
