CITY SPECIAL ELECTION, NOVEMBER 8, 1960
AMENDMENT TO CHARTER
The amendment of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul reads as set
forth in the Notice of this special election as said notice has been published
and posted according to law and provides, among other things, the following:
Eliminates per capita tag and spending limitation, substituting dollar
amount tag limitation. Provides that the tag limitation may be increased
by the Council or Board of Education, such increase requiring the approval
of voters. Authorizes the Council to adopt an amended budget for 1961.
To vote for the proposed charter amendment, put
a cross mark (X) in the square opposite the word "YES"
To vote against the proposed amendment, put a cross mark
(X) in the square opposite the work "NO ".
