OFFICE OF THE Cllbeen set up in the Miscellaneous and Unforeseen Fund (31 G Q of the 1900 Budget for participation by the City COUNCIL RESOLUTION `of Saint Paul in the Saint Paul Winter Carnival, and Whereas, Saint Paul Winter Carnival �3r%t °I ARri 27, WHEREAS, the sum of $5,000.00 has been set up in the Miscellaneous and Unforeseen Fund (31 G 4) of the 1960 Budget for participation by the City of Saint Paul in the Saint Paul Winter Carnival, and a WHEREAS, Saint Paul Winter Carnival Association in a letter dated April 27, 1960, over the signature of -John Geisler, Managing Director of Saint Paul Winter Carnival Association, represents to the City that expenses have been incurred in con- nection with the Winter Carnival in the amount of $59000.009 said expenses being listed as follows: Expenses incurred in repairing ski slide structure; General liability insurance for City and officials; Labor and materials for construction of a ramp at Saint Paul Auditorium; Expenses incurred in installation and maintenance of downtown skating rink;_ Parade float for City and County Carnival group; (these bills include the Commonwealth Electric Company, J. S. Sweitzer & Son, Inc., Gordon Displays, Inc., Saint Paul Fire & Marine Insurance Company). RESOLVED, that the sum of $5,000.00 be paid from said Fund to Saint Paul Winter Carnival Association, as reimbursement.for payment of its obligations hereinbefore mentioned.
