RESOLVED, that Gerald F: Meis, 1038 East Fourth Street, be
permitted to construct a six foot high redwood alternating board
fence on his property, subject to the condition that said fence
shall be three feet six inches in height in front of the building
line, said fence to be constructed under the direction and to the
satisfaction of the Commissioner of Parks and Recreation and Public
Buildings.

The City Council requested that you prepare a resolution granting the
attached application cf Gerald F. Meis, 1038 B. Fourth St., for permit
to construct a 6 -ft. high redwood alternating-; board fence, subject to
the condition that in front of the building line, the fence should be
cut down to 3 ft., 6 in., as described in the attached letter of the
City Architect.

The application of Gerald F. Meis, 1038 East Fourth
Street, has been referred to this office for investiga-
tion, in which he requests permission to construct a
six foot high redwood alternating board fence.
Our inspector has investigated the premises and can
see no objection to granting this request, with the pro-
vision that in front of the building line, the fence
should be cut down to 316 ".
