RESOLVED,. That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract
Committee therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor,
materials and services necessary for and reasonably incidental to the
furnishing and installing of Grounding Receptacles and Rewiring of Equipment
at the Public Utilities Building, 100 East Tenth Street, St. Paul, Minnesota,
to PEOPLES ELECTRIC COMPANY in accordance with City specifications therefor
hereto attached and the Formal Bid #8012 of said Peoples Electric Company
for the contract price of $940.00 such bid being the lowest and said
Peoples Electric Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder, and the
Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form
of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized
to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul,

The undersigned customers of Davidson Company properties respectfully
request the City Council to continue in effect the present sub - metering
provision in the Northern States Power Company contract, as its
cancellation would undoubtedly result in an increase in our rental
without any saving to us in the cost of electrical energy.
