AUTHORIZATION OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
PRESEN ED BY HON. DATE June 2 1960 19 —_
RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for the grading and paving of East Seventh
Street from Johnson Parkway to White Bear Avenue and construction of a storm
sewer in East Seventh Street from Etna Street to Germain Street to ASHBACH
CONSTRUCTION CO. in accordance with City plans and specifications therefor
hereto attached and the Formal Bid #8030 of said Ashbach Construction Co, for
the contract price of $188,800.55 Cat unit prices bid), (plus $1200.00 Vlater
Dept, charges, plus $18,800.06 Engineering, and plus $3776.01 Inspection by
City Forces), such bid being the lowest and said Ashbach Construction Co.
being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby
is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor and the proper
City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract in behalf of
the City of Saint Paul.
