RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therdfor, and hereby awards contract for the construction of the Payne Avenue
Relief Sewer, Arlington Hills Sub - District #4, to HURLEY CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
in accordance with City plans and specifications therefor hereto attached
and the Formal Bid #8017 of said Hurley Construction Company, for the
contract price of $380,918.00, plus $30,473.00 for Engineering and plus
$7618.00 for Inspection by City forces, such bid being the lowest and
said Hurley Construction Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder
and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper ---J,"
form of contract therefor and the proper City officials hereby authorized
to execute said contract in behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
