RESOLVED, That the.Council hereby concurs with the action of the Contract Committee

and hereby rescinds award of contract to The Helle Co. (C.F. #198459 dated August 11,
1960) due to the death of the contractor, add hereby concurs with the Contract
Committee therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor, material
and services necessary for or reasonably incidental to the installation of a back-
draft kitchen exhaust system at Phalen Park Golf Clubhouse, St. Paul, Minnesota, to
PREFERRED SHEET METAL COMPANY in accordance with City specifications and the
Informal Bid #1671 of said preferred Sheet Metal Company for the contract price of
$650.00, such bid being thenext lowest and said Preferred Metal Company being a
reasonable and reliable bidder, and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is
directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor,)and the proper City
officials hereby are authorized to-execute said contract on behalf of the,City
of Saint Paul.
