COUNCIL RESOLUTION - GENERAL FORM

RESOLVED, That the Council hereby concurs in the recommendation of the Purchasing
Committee therefor in awarding contracts for furnishing and delivering the following
approximate quantities (more or less according to requirements) of Motor Gasoline to
various departments of the City of St. Paul for the period September 1, 1960 through
August 31, 1961 -
NORTHWESTERN REFINING COMPANY - 400,000 Gals.. Regular Gasoline and 125,000 Gals. Ethyl
Gasoline for the contract price of approximately $6$,645.00
CONTINENTAL OIL COMPANY - 12,000 Gals. Regular Gasoline for the contract price of
approximately $1670.76.
STANDARD OIL COMPANY (INDIANA) - 16,000 Gallons Standard Gold Crown Premium Gasoline
for the contract price of approximately $2400.00
in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid
#8097 of said bidders, such bids being the lowest and said bidders being reasonable
and reliable ones, and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up
the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are
authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
