WHEREAS, Kellogg Boulevard is scheduled to be repaved betwe,�,, f,IVounds9' '" F

Boulevard and Sibley Street, and
WHEREAS, serious traffic congestion problems are expected during said
paving project, and
WHEREAS, the Traffic Bureau of the Department of Public Works feels
that a detour road should be used during the repaving operation, and
WHEREAS, the most desirable route for the easterly end of a detour via
Fourth Street is on the vacated portion of Wilson' Street between Mounds
Boulevard and Hudson Road, and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department has approved the use
of this portion of Wilson Street for the detour, now therefore. be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul approves the use of
the vacated portion of Wilson Street between Mounds- Boulevard and Hudson Road
for the duration of the Kellogg Boulevard repaving project.
