WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Libraries, Auditorium, Museums
and Stadia has reported in accordance with Section 53 of
the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during
the period from August 1 to August 15, 1960, which rendered
necessary the employment of certain employees of the
Department of Libraries, Auditorium, Museums and Stadia
for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week
in doing the following works
Necessary for maintenance and operation of parking
at Municipal Stadium.
And, WHEREAS, This emergency arose by reason of the following
facts and circumstances:
Could not be handled by untrained personnel.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the proper city officers are
hereby authorized to pay the employees shown on the attached
list, who performed such work in accordance with the pro-
visions of the Council's salary ordinance, No. 6446.
