Whereas, Waldo Dohman, an employe
of the Department of Public Safety
of the City of Saint-Paul, was injured
on December 4, 1959, in a third party
accident, while engaged in the per-

WHEREAS, Waldo Dohman, an employe of -the Department
of Public Safety of the City of Saint Paul, was injured on
December 4, 1959, in a third party accident, while engaged in
the performance of his duties for the Department of Public
Safety, and the City has incurred medical expenses in the
amount of $26.00 therefor; and
WHEREAS, a settlement has been negotiated by the
parties whereby the employe has received the amount of $400.00,
and the Office of the Corporation Counsel is in possession of
a draft of the State Farm Mutual Insurance Company payable to
the City of St. Paul in the amount of $26.00, on behalf of its
assured Richard Rothmund, the third party involved in said acci-
dent of December -4, 1959; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, The proper City officers are hereby authorized
to accept said settlement, solely for the amount due it in connec-
tion with the personal injury sustained by the City's employe
Waldo Dohman, in the amount of $26.00, and the proper City officers
are further authorized to execute any necessary releases; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That said sum of $26.00 be credited
to Fund 31 -G1 -A.
