hereby are authorized to accept the amount of $150 in
compromise settlement of the City's claim of $171.91 under
Registered Bill No. 3 -2969, for damage to a City vehicle
on March 6, 1959, by an automobile driven by David.R:eEo 'ater'-,
and owned by Century Building Supply Company, on Selby Avenue
near its intersection with Saratoga Street, and upon the
receipt of said $150 to execute a release therefor and to
cancel the balance of said Registered Bill.
