Whereas, The Board of Education of
PRESENTED BY the City of Saint Paul no longer needs
COMMISSIONER DATE the prop hereinafter described and

WHEREAS, the Board of Education of the City of Saint
Paul no longer needs the property hereinafter described and
has adopted a resolution to this effect on February 25, 1960,
at its regular meeting; and
WHEREAS, the Bureau of Parks and Recreation of the
City of Saint Paul is desirous of using such property for
parks and recreation purposes;and
WHEREAS, said property is tax title and was granted
to the City by the State of �iMinnesota for school purposes, and
the City Council heartily endorses the request of the Bureau
of Parks-and Recreation for a change in use of this property,
Now, Therefore, be it
-RESOLVED, That the proper City officers are hereby
,.;.authorized and instructed to execute an application for
approval of a new use of tax - forfeited lands and to forward
the same to the Tax Commissioner for a change of use of the

ollowing- described property:
All that property lying within the following
described lines: beginning on the north line of
the southeast V4, Section 35, Township 29, Range 22,
930 feet easterly of the west line of said V4 section,
thence southeasterly a distance of 685.67 feet on a
line parallel to the west line of said l section,
thence easterly a distance of 485 feet on a line
parallel to the northerly line of said f section,
thence on a line in a northeasterly direction a
distance of 586.05 feet to a point which is 305
feet southerly of the northerly line of said Z4
section and 1863.57 feet easterly of the west line
of said l section, thence in a northerly direction
a distance of 305 feet to a point on the northerly
