WHEREAS, Toyota a�ees to provide cash support of $100,000 for each year of the agreement
(total three years) and value-in-kind support of l O leased vehicles (no fee) for the duration of the
partnership (totalthree years);and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul agrees to provide sponsorship recognition of fitled/preseniing
partner status at three events (Star of the North Games, Softball on Ice, Music in the Parks and presence at
10 events throughout the City of Saint Paul (i.e. Earth Day Celebrarion, Molitor Youth Baseball
Tournament, Spring Park Clean Up; and
WHEREAS; this is a financial benefit to the taxpayers of Saint Paul of approximately $170,000 per
year and provide a positive environmental impact in that at least 60% of the provided vehicles will be
hybrids and all will be low emission/high model mileage; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul Citv Council authorizes the Division of Parks and
