PRESENTED BY
COMMISSIONER DATE March 18- 1960
RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract
Committee therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor,
tools, equipment and material (except that open trenching required will
be done by others) to push, jack or by the bore - jacking method to install
a 30 inch steel casing pipe under and across Snelling Avenue near Pine -
burst Avenue to ARMCO DRAINAGE & METAL PRODUCTS, INC. in accordance with
City plans and specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid
#7967 of said Armco Drainage & Metal Products, Inc. for the contract
price of $23798.00, such bid being the only bid and said Armco Drainage &
Metal Products, Inc. being a reasonable and reliable bidder, and the
Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form
of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized
to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
