Resolution of Council Approving Assessment
and Fixing Time of Hearing Thereon
In the matter of the assessment of benefits, cost and expenses for
Improv�►Selby Avenue from Victoria Street to Fairview Avenue and
Fairview,Avenue from Selby Avenue to Marshall Avenue, by grading and
paving the track area with concrete base and asphaltic concrete sur-
facing, where it is necessary to remove existing track paving includ-
ing rails and ties; by,surfacing the track area, where existing track
pavement is left in 'place, with asphaltic concrete; by removing the
wood block, brick and asphalt surfacing on the present paved roadway
and resurfacing the present concrete base with asphaltic concrete; by'
building up the present concrete base with concrete where necessary to
un bring the surface of the present base to the proper subgrade of the new
asphalt surfacing or by constructing new concrete base where necessary;;
Int by resetting "bld curb or constructing new curb and sidewalks where `
necessary; by paving alley and driveway returns where necessary; by 1
constructing conduits and appurtenances for future lighting and traffic J
control systems where necessary; by constructing sewer, water and gas
service. connection" from street mains to the property lines where i with

intersecting streets where not in conformity with said improvement;,

RESOLVED FURTHER, That a public hearing be had on said assessment on the 27th
day of April, 1960 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of
the Court House and City Hall Building, in the City of St. Paul; that the Commissioner of Finance
give notice of said meetings, as required by the Charter, stating in said notice the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement, the total cost thereof, and the amount assessed against the
lot or lots of the particular owner to whom the notice is directed.
