6. Appeal of Robert Spoemer to a Suuunary Abatement Order for property at 635 Sherburne
Avenue.
Mr. Robinson stated that orders were issued on Mazch 27 to remove improperly stored refuse in the
yard, gazage and to remove a cu with a compliance date of Apri19, 2008. A work order had been
issued when Mr. Spoerner filed the appeal and the work order was cancelied. He stated that it was
obvious from Yhe photo�aphs that there was an over-accumulation of junk in the backyard.
Mr. Spoerner, property owner stated that he appealed the order as he needed additional time to
remove the itexns as most of it was frozen to the ground He had started the work but found the yard
to be muddy and slippery.
Ms. Moermond asked Mr. Spoemer how long the backyazd had been in this condition. Mr.
Spoerner responded it had been a couple of years. He said that he liked to spend time outside in the
yazd when the weather was nice.
Ms. Moermond recommended denying the appeal and granting an extension to May 9 to compleYe
the work.
The hearing adjourned at ll:55 a.m.
