I. INTERMEDIARY ORDER
In the Matter of constructing a public sanitary sewer in Upper Afton Road from
the existing Battle Creek Trunk Sewer west of Battle Creek Road to the east line
of the W. 1/2 of Section 2, Township 28 North, Range 22 West; also constructing a
storm water sewer in Upper Afton Road from the existing Battle Creek west of Battle
Creek Road to the east line of the W. 1/2 of Section 2, Township 28 North, Range 22
West; all of which is to be known as the BATTLE CREEK SEWER SYSTEM - EASTERLY EXTENSION
ON UPPER AFTON ROAD
under Preliminary Order 193812 approved September 1, 1959
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
I. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is to construct a
public sanitary sewer in Upper Afton Road from the existing Battle Creek Trunk Sewer
west of Battle Creek Road to the east line of the W. 1/2 of Section 2, Township 28
North, Range,22 West; also construct a storm water sewer in Upper Afton Road from
the existing Battle Creek west of Battle Creek Road to the east line of the W. 1/2
of Section 2, Township 28 North, Range 22 West; all of which is to be knol4n as the
BATTLE CREEK SEWER SYSTEM - EASTERLY EXTENSION ON UPPER AFTON ROAD
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $47,285.06
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 9th day of
'0 February , 19� at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to' the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvgMr a qgi total cost thereof as estimated.
