Dillon, mayor - �'�' Resolved, By the Council of the City of Saint Paul, pursuant to the provi- sions of Ordinance No. 11490, as amended, that, in respect of each item of severance pay provided to be paid by ? said ordinance, as amended, on account of any separation from em- ployment service of said City W ch ncr»med. -ir the year �;.r.�- -.._.n --,- RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Sai.nti``Paul, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 71490, as amended, that, in respect of each item of severance pay provided to be paid by said ordinance, as amended, on account of any separation -from employment service of said, City which occurred in the year 1959, save any such separation which may have occurred in said year by reason of death of any eligible employee,the same shall be and hereby is directed to be paid upon a deferred annual installment payment plan and that in isach such case no scheduled annual 'installment of any su* severance pay on account of any such separation, save separation by death of any such eligible employee, shall exceed $600 and that the first payment of the same shall be made on January.20,';` 1960, and that successive annual installments not'in excess of said sum of $600 thereon shall become due and payable Ion the 20th'day of"- January in each succeeding year to the extent.and only to the extent',that the same shall be necessary to effect the payment of the total severance pay amount, in each particular case, without interest. RESOLVED FURTHER, that said manner of payment of severance pay on account of separations. from said employment service which occurredin -�thdr year 1959; -ave - is1—respect of`-t11o"se whicho Ci�rred by reason of the death of .any eligible employee, upon the aforesaid deferred annual installment plan, is necessitated by reason of deficiencies in funds of the City available and appro -priated therefor and represents the only feasible or practicable plan to be followed in the premises.
