RESOLVED, That an extra in the amount of $327.00 be allowed
under Contract No. G -1983 between the City of St. Paul and Karl
Dedolph Construction Co.; said contract for Office Remodeling for
the Purchasing Department, City of St. Paul, and said extra to
cover the difference in cost for eliminating Vinyl Asbestos tile
in the office of the Purchasing Agent and substituting in lieu=
thereof the removal and installation of Vinyl Asbestos floor tile
in the rear office area (Room 254), which is an additional 467
square feet, this work having been requested by the Purchasing
Agent, and agreement made with the contractor, and a memorandum
of said agreement having been filed with the Comptroller and coun-
tersigned by him.

Dear-Sir:
Contract No. G -1983 was awarded to Karl Dedolph Construction
Company for Office Remodeling for the Purchasing Department,
City Hall, St, Paul, Minnesota.
It has been found desirable to eliminate the tiling of the Pur-
chasing Agentts office and in lieu thereof to remove and install
Vinyl Asbestos floor tile in the rear office area, Room 254,
which is an additional 467 square feet; and at the request of
the Purchasing Agent negotiations have been conducted with the
contractor, who agrees to do this work for $327.00 which is a
reasonable amount for the labor and material involved.
It is, therefore, requested that a resolution be submitted to
the Council authorizing this extra in the amount of $327.00.
