WHEREAS, the City Architect has requested the City Council
to hold a public hearing to consider any complaints about the
expense incurred by the City of Saint Paul in removing a
dangerous structure at 671 Iglehart Avenue, more particularly
described as East 2/3 of Lot 1, Block 1, Portland Addition to
St. Paul; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the last known record owner of
the property is Anna Novak, c/o Leirfallom Rest Home, White
Bear, Minnesota, copies of proceedings herein having been sent
to County Welfare Board, 476 St. Peter Street, Saint Paul, and
to N. P. Langford, 1112 Minnesota, Saint Paul; therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Saint Paul
hold a public hearing in the Council Chamber at ten o'clock A. M.
on the 20th day of May 1960, to consider any complaints about the
expense incurred by the City of Saint Paul and to confirm the
amount thereof; be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Architect notify by mail the
record owner of the property in question at the last known address,
} as well as other interested persons of record.

C. F. 196133, adopted by the Council March 4, 1960 (published
March 12, 1960) provided that the wrecking expense of $587.00
and expenses of the Department of Parks And Recreation And
Public Buildings in connection with the condemnation in the
amount of $89.86, making a total of $676.86 be paid out of
Wrecking Condemned Buildings, and in the event said sum proves
to be collectible from the owner, same is to be credited to
31 G 22.
The dwelling has now been satisfactorily wrecked and a Regis-
tered Bill mailed to the owner.

A statement of expense has been filed with the City Clerk on this
date for the purpose of creating a lien on the property known as
671 Iglehart Avenue, St. Paul, described as East 2/3 of Lot 1,
Block 1, Portland Addition to St. Paul.
This property is owned by Anna Novak, %Leirfallom Rest Home, White
Bear, and copies of the condemnation proceedings were mailed to
the County Welfare Board, 476 St. Peter 'Street, and N. P. Langford,
1112 Minnesota Building, St. Paul 1.
In this matter, the following resolutions were adopted by the City
Council:
C.F. 193852, adopted by the Council September 3, 1959 (published
September 5, 1959) set a public hearing at 10 A.M., September 25,
1959.
C. F. 194142, adopted by the Council September 29, 1959 (published
October 3, 1959) ordered the wrecking by and at the separate cost
and expense of the owner, occupant, or other person in Control there-
of.
C. F. 194461, adopted by the Council October 27, 1959, (published
October 31, 1959) directed the Commissioner of Parks And Recreation
And Public Buildings to enter the premises and wreck and remove
the dwelling thereon, and to do any and all things therein neces-
sary for the protection of life, limb, and adjoining property.
C. F. 195075, ado ted by the Council December 18, 1959 (published
December 19, 1959 approved the award of the contract for wrecking
to Guy Patsy and Sons, Inc., for the sum of $587.00 in accordance
with specifications and Informal Bid No. 1041.
