RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor, material, machines,
tools and equipment for constructing, repairing, relaying or reconstructing such
monolithic concrete or cement the sidewalks and other work incidental thereto,
within 'Sidewalk District No,-4 as may be ordered by the Council for the current
year prior to September 15, 1960; except such work as the Coundil may order to
be done by City Force Account, to'ARRIGONI BROS., INC. in accordance with City
plans and specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #7914 of
said Arrigo'ni Bros., Inc., for the contract price of approximately $56,305.00 (at
unit prices bid), plus Engineering $450M.00 and plus Inspection $1126.00 by City
Forces, such'bid being the lowest and said Arrigoni Bros., Inc. being a
reasonable ana reliable bidder, and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is
directed to draw up the proper form'cf contract therefor, and the proper City
officials hereb'y are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City
of Saint Paul.
