RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Water
Department, St. Paul, Minnesota, approximately 7250 lineal feet of 16 °' Prestressed
Concrete Cylinder Pipe with rubber and steel joint (Class 150) with all necessary
appurtenances, to LOCK JOINT PIPE COMPANY in accordance with City plan and specifications
therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #7925 of said Lock Joint Pipe Company for

the contract price of approximately $54,085.00 (Board of Water Commissioners reserving
the right to increase the materials of the contract by an amount not to exceed twenty
per cent of the quantity indicated), such bid being the lowest aid said Lock Joint Pipe
Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby
is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials
hereby are authorized to execute said contract onbehalf of the City of Saint Paul.
