WHEREAS, the Minnesota Safety Council has awarded a donation of 6400.00 to the Department of Fire and
Safety Services, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Fire and Safety Services would like to accept this donation from the Minnesota
Safety Council, and
WHEREAS, the public purpose of this donation is to continue to support Risk Watch, an injury prevention
program, and
NOW THEREFORE, IT BE RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council, on behalf of the citizens of Saint Paul,
accept this donation of $400.00 from the Minnesota Safety Council and extend their sincere appreciation to
this organization.

The Minnesota Safety Council has awatded a donation to the Depariment of Fire and Safety Services for unplementarion of Risk
Watch, an injury prevenrion program. The Deparhnent of Fire and Safety Services would like to accept the donation from the
Miunesota Safety Council.
Advantages If Approved:
The Department of Fire and Safety Services will be able to accept the donation of $400.00 which will be used to prevent unintentional
injuries to Saint Paul children. �
