WHEREAS, in the Matter of Comptroller's Contract L -6153, for
making SOIL BORINGS" along the ST. PETER-RONDO STORM WATER
RELIEF SEWER SYSTEM; Caswell Engineering Compan ; Contractor,
the specified date of completion was December 14, 1959., and
WHEREAS, the Contractor has prosecuted the work diligently, delay
was experienced due to inclement weather, with the result that
said Contractor was unable to complete said Contract within
the time specified, therefore be it
RESOLVED., that the proper City Officials be and they are hereby
authorized and directed to execute an Amendment to said C6n-
trac t extending the time of complet16n to JANUARY 7, 1960,
provided however, that this Resolution shall have no force or
effect unless the Sureties on the Contractor's Bond consent
thereto-and file such consent in writing with the City Comp-
troller, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of ''t .
claim for liquidated damages and that
inspection costs on this Project will
on account of such extended period.
