RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing
Committee therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering
to the Bureau of Municipal Equipment, 891 North Dale Street, One Model "D"
Street Ring Sweeper, to PUBLIC WORKS EQUIPMENT COMPANY, INC, in accordance
with City specifications and the Formal Bid #7917 of said Public Works
Equipment Company for the contract price of $15,868,00, such bid being the
only bid and said Public Works Equipment Company, Inc. being a reasonable and
reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be, and hereby is directed to
draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials
hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of
St.Paule
