Holland- r�.�+t�.y - ��TaJ�at�ce An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 11490, entitled: "Ann ordinance establishing, prescribing and promul- gating rules and regulations therefor and authorizing and providing for severance pay measured by but not based upon accumulated and unused sick leave credits to become payable and to be paid by the City of Saint Paul to its employees in its Classified Civil Service and to its employees in its unclassified exempt service, except its elected officials;- and amending Ordinance No. 3250, of said City, entitled: 'An administrative ordinance relating to the Civil Service B reau of the City of Saint Paul, approving and adoptYng rules and regulations therefor,' approved August 20, 1914, as amended. This is an emergency ordinance rendered necessary for.the preservation of the public peace, health and safety" approved June 12, 1959, as amended.. This is an emergency ordi- nance rendered necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety.. THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. That Ordinance No. 11490, approved June 12, 19599 as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by striking from Section 9 the following language: "That said Ordinance No. 3250, approved August 20, 1914, as amended, hereby is further amended by inserting in and as the second paragraph of Section 35 F3, the following:" and by substituting in lieu thereof the following language: " With reference to Classified Civil Service employees of the City of Saint Paul., in addition to other provisions of Ordinance No. 11490, as amended, pertaining to such employees, the following provisions of Section 9 shall be continued in force with reference to such Classified Civil Service employees:" ,Section 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to-be an emergency ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation of the public peace,•health and safety. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force upon its passage, approval and publication.
