In the Matter of condemning and taking an easement for the purpose of constructing

under Preliminary Order 198474 Approved August 12, 1960
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is to condemn and take an
easement for the purpose of constructing and maintaining a public.sewer on, under and
across the East 4 ft, of Lot 8, Block 8, Hillsdale, from Jenks Ave. to the alley in the
rear of said lot, also condemning and taking a temporary easement for construction pur-
poses on a strip of land 8 ft. in width on the west side of the above easement and the
West 8 ft. of Lot 7, Block 8, Hi�lsda�e f m Jens Ave. to the alley. in Block. 8, Hillsdale
with no alternatives, and that the estimate cyst�iereof is $ 225-W
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 27th day of
December, 1960 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
