WHEREAS, in the Matter of Comptroller's Contract L -6257 for
the Curbing of the South Side of ELEANOR AVENUE from Cretin
Ave. to Mount Curve Boulevard, Pederson Bros. Company, con-
tractor, the specified date of completion is October 29, 1960,
and
WHERAS, the Contractor has prosecuted the work diligently,
but due to delay occasioned by unfavorable weather conditions
during the latter part of October, 1960, it was not possible
to complete the contract by said date of completion, therefore
be it
RESOLVED, that the proper city officers be and they are hereby
authcr ized and directed to execute an amendment to said con-
tract extending the time of completion to JUNE 1, 1961, pro-
vided, however that this Resolution shall no fcrce or effect
unless the Sureties on the Contractor's Bond consent thereto
and file such consent in writing with the City Comptroller,
and be it r
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of St. Paul hereby waives all
claim for liquidated damages and that no engineering and in-
spection costs on this Project will be charged by the City
on account-of such extended period.

tractor, the specified date of completion is October 29, 1960,
and
WHEREAS, the Contractor has prosecuted the work diligently,
but due to delay occasioned by unfavorable weather conditions
during the latter part of October, 1960, it was not possible
to complete the contract by said date of completion, therefore
be it
